ABOUT The Mercenary Artist
The Mercenary Artist is a Tucson, AZ-based artist/illustrator/mega-nerd. His focus is on anything and everything nerdy, with some infrequent dabbling in the “normal”. Formally trained in the timeless art of traditional animation, art and design at an institute of art originally located in Phoenix. Since then, he’s been creating art-for-hire (and for fun) as a freelance artist. Illustrations, comic-book covers & interiors, album art, concept-art and creature-design, storyboards. (You name it, he does it!)
The tools of the trade are pencil, ink, marker & watercolor. He has also been known to sculpt on occasion.
